Re: Incorrect VSI indication
It might be that you're using a livery that was produced before the 4000-to-2000 switch happened. This changed the face of the indicator to the older one, but the logic still works as for the newer one.

I'm not sure about VR, but you can adjust the viewpoint by editing the [Views] section in the aircraft.cfg.

Looks cool. Although that fancy GTN750 looks out of place on these old-film styled movies.

A paper map and a pencil when possible. (And, yes, I'm old-fashioned and I'm fine, thank you very much.)
Skyvector is good, too.

I had a similar problem eliminated by setting the "Disable fullscreen optimizations" in the P3D shortcut properties.

Re: full throttle at 8,500
It has been recently discussed here. Engine power is not a direct function of the throttle position, and the actual engine power is what really matters, not how wide your throttle is open. As long as you keep the engine performance numbers below limits no harm should be done.

Re: Saitek controls becoming increasinlgy unresponsive
Don't be too hasty to ask for a refund. Are you confident with your hardware controls? It sounds like you have a problem with them, not with the A2A model. I had similar problems when I connected my Saitek yoke via a USB-hub. Switching to a direct connection to one of the ports on the MB solved this.

I would say "Thank you, Jan Visser and Rob Young", too. With the team of creators listed in the original post it seems to be one of the best aircraft for FS9/X ever made. Too pity I've learnt about it just a couple of days ago

Re: Do you fly with only one hand on the yoke?
Left hand on the yoke, right hand on the throttle / right hand on the stick, left hand on the throttle depending on arrangement, but always one hand on the throttle at all times. I find it difficult to control when holding the yoke with both hands since it's very easy to overcontrol. When I was star...
