Re: Track IR revelation
I have TrackIR and Trackhat and I find both of them very good. I bought TrackIR ages ago, well before Trackhat came out otherwise I would probably have gone with Trackhat because of price. I now use TrackIR with the Trackhat LED cap and find it far better than the TIR reflective "dots" hat...

Beginning August all non-commrcial EASA aircraft have to carry either an ELT or PLB unless they are landing and departing the same airfield. That means if I want to go for say a 30 minute flight to the neares...

Re: AS16+ASCA
@n421nj, I have only done a few static checks at Manchester (EGCC) between AS16 and ASN Andrew to see if there was a noticeable impact on performance and didn't see any. This short flight was done because there was quite a lot of low cloud and I wanted to see how it affected performance and the look...

Re: Dodgy Hat Switch and Headtracking alternatives
Affirm John.I presume you are talking about Wolverhampton (EGBO) ?
Amid the rumours that various GA airfields were being sold for housing development there were rumours that EGBO had been sold to a housing development company. However that rumour was squashed soon after.

Re: Dodgy Hat Switch and Headtracking alternatives
I have used TrackIR for a number of years John and maybe just your settings that need tweaking to reduce/eliminate the nausea. I have mapped a joystick button to centre the view anad the middle mouse button to pause (basically freeze) the view. I fly PMDG airliners a lot and use my mouse to manipula...

Re: Jan Visser VC C-47 Textures Preview
Jan is one very talented artist.
I bough the MAAMSIM C47 and Mitchell B-25J after seeing the pictures and was bowled over by the quality of the artwork by Jan.
I think this will be joining my hanger, it looks good and sounds good.
