Re: My Latest Hobby - Sort Of Like Flying But Underwater

There are only two that I'm really scared of and will get out of the water and call it a day if someone even thinks they see one. That's a thresher and a mako. I've only seen a mako up close once and I was in a 42 foot Grady-White. I know they say a Thresher is not aggressive to humans but.... I jus...

Re: My Latest Hobby - Sort Of Like Flying But Underwater

I grew up in Charleston SC and doing so I did a bit of surfing back in the day. I got bumped a few times standing on a sand bar about 60 to 120 feet offshore at the washout. The sandbar moves for those that don't know. I don't want to know what bumped me and could not see it in the brown surf. Most ...

5 pic's down is a great shot of ampullae of Lorenzini. You have to be close, or have good equipment to get a good shot like that. If you don't mind I think I'll be adding that one to my folder of desktop wallpaper's for sea life during summer.

Favorite YouTuber does video on Faverite bomber.

The Fat Electrician did a video on the most decorated air crew of WWII and the B17. Some cursing may have been used, I don't recall but that is his M/O.

Re: Question re FS2020

Asobo has stated that no outside .exe will work with MSFS so that may be holding a lot of developers up. As in you can't run a .dll linking to a .exe and have it run outside of the sim is my understanding from the tread I read. I'm not a programmer so I don't know how all that works, so don't take m...

I believe the SDK and they are working on something for the US government at the moment. I could not find the post.

Re: Interesting Homemade documentary Project Mercury 4K

I will add a little puzzle here. The transportation of two objects of mass between distant points in space by the differences in mass and the warping of space-time. No engine needed though very simple mechanics can be involved in some circumstances. Not sure if that answers your puzzle (if it's eve...

Re: Liking MSFS2020

I spent about $2000 on P3D in 2 months. I don't regret it. I plan to keep both. P3D is continuing development. It doesn't have to be one or the other - it's totally possible to have both and enjoy them. As long as you have money. ;) I have P3D, FSX, X-Plane, and MSFS 2020 installed and use them all...

Re: Liking MSFS2020

Well said Mr, Henriques. I may be a native American English speaker but that does not mean that I'm good at it. :D
I should have added in my first post that I can fly true VFR in MSFS 2020, unlike the others. I can't wait to have an A2A aircraft in MSFS 2020.

Re: Liking MSFS2020

I find it the same as any sim really. It's not as real as it could be. Take the 172, The one my family owns will fly off the runway, and in all the sims I own, none of them are actually that close. I have the Alph yoke and throttles, and crapy rudders. The A2A 172 is far better at simulating the tak...

Re: Passing of Ian Warren

I'm not blowing my own horn here I just want people to understand the pain he was in. I along with a cousin of mine suffer from pancreatic cancer as well and the pain after eating is unbearable at times. This is my second year with the debilitating pain, I'm sorry he didn't catch it earlier. I wish ...

Re: I support a2a

When I'm not in X-Plane I fly A2A and nothing else, well PMDG. I love the dc-6 from PMDG in x-plane. I believe I recall a post from they guys here at A2A saying they have no plans to make anything for x-plane, I believe they are missing out on a big opportunity. I know I would buy every single thing...
