A2A Service Is Just As Outstanding As Their Products!
Gents, a quick recognition of the outstanding service A2A provides to their customers. We all know that A2A accusim products are the best out there, but it's so pleasing to see the commitment to service delivery with their customers. Despite me being confused about old email addresses with the old s...

Re: Should we allow some political discussions on the forum?
Good stuff I am pleased with Scott's decision. What my examples show is essentially this - it's a matter of opinion. When two opinions collide, it is difficult to test which one is right. That is what is meant in philosophy about irrational things - ontological, epistemological - debating things whi...

Re: Recommendations for new PC
Inside the CPU, there is "uncore" components as Intel likes to call them including the memory controller and other systems. This links to the chipset as well although much of that has also moved onto the CPU itself with no more north or south bridge as they were called. Generally, most app...

Re: Should we allow some political discussions on the forum?
Yes indeed Ron I think what brings people together with A2A, is mutual love for their products. Products which are truly innovative and best of breed in the field. Managing that community to my mind atleast is about focusing on the common thing which brings them together and celebrating that. Talks ...

Good to see you enjoying motorsport legally in an off street setting
Australia doesn't have many drag strips and despite a push for more of them, it has been difficult to get them approved to be built mainly from "noise" and other environmental impact objections.

Re: Should we allow some political discussions on the forum?
Im explaining why it is problematic - having any sort of quality in debate is difficult with these subjects because it is not founded on rational thinking with supporting data. When irrational things are debated, the whole debate just tends to be irrational because people have no basis otherwise tha...

Re: Should we allow some political discussions on the forum?
I voted no. It will just lead to upsets and moderator work despite any intentions to the contrary. Especially religion topics, the whole basis for most religions is not founded on rational evidence it is founded on wishful and imaginative thinking - using ontological arguments essentially - the abil...

A Joke From Steady Eddie
For those who don't know, "Steady Eddie" is an Australian comedian who is known for his comedy around his disability with Cerebral Palsy. Like many Australians, he "has a go" and "makes the best of it" and he found a career in being a stand up comedy act. So anyway I sa...

Re: Recommendations for a GA twin turboprop add-on?
Yes I have the twotter too. At the expense of repeating myself this isnt accusim either :) For example, the twotter doesnt have working ventilation settings and no "youve made the cockpit nice" A2A style. Like the turbine duke from realair, the twotter from Aerosoft is pretty good but thes...

Encourage you blokes to get into the NVIDIA betas and post on their forum any regressions with P3D. They do betas in an attempt to engage the community on this sort of stuff.

Re: Back to Basics
I do this too. I like to have redundancy and flexibility. And not just a VOR station, but ADF via NDB too. And the GPS. While flight simming can never replace the physical reality of flying in real life, the IFR navigation and study IMHO is a real area where there is great value. It makes sense as g...
