Re: Quest 2 VR Support Question
Hi Lewis - personally I find it to be MUCH more immersive flying this way in that using the VR controllers allows the player to experience a new form of simulation when it comes to cockpit familiarization where now you must actually look and reach out as you would in the RL aircraft in a more realis...

Re: Quest 2 VR Support Question
VR touch controllers are not supported in the Comanche thanks, Lewis Has anything changed in regards to the VR controllers, can they "grab" the yoke and throttle yet? I've been simming for 40 years with hardware, but in VR there's no freer feeling than stepping into a cockpit and not bein...

...you can fly her crabbed...but you can't land her crabbed IRL. When you touch down those wheels better be straight or woe is youwvernonc wrote:You mentioned landing with a crosswind. The plane will not be straight with the runway if you are crabbing into the crosswind.

Re: My Cockpit View Seems Askew
I guess it is difficult to make folks understand what I mean, although I see Bert gets it. It's not about needing an external reference. It's more about making certain that your nose and gear is pointing straight when you touch down (which requires an internal reference point). Regardless of your vi...

Re: Avionics master switch
the GTN is linked to the master battery switch...there is no avionics switch included. But even so, there is a bug getting the comms to work...you need to first switch back to the default radio stacks and then back to GTN.

same here, there is no included avionics switch...the GTN is linked to the master battery switch. Is this by design or no?

Re: ATC not working with Flight1 GTN750
Lewis this is what I already reported to you earlier today where the comm wasn't working with gtn until you switch back to default radios...but I have to do this each and everytime I start the sim. In other words I can't seem to load the plane with the GTN working. You have to swap radio stacks ever...

Re: My Cockpit View Seems Askew
Not sure how it can possibly look normal..what I mean is that even though the plane is pointing straight...the cockpit view shows your nose pointing in a very obvious right angle. This means that if you want to touch down with the nose pointing straight down the runway that in cockpit view you're ac...

Re: My Cockpit View Seems Askew
I don't have an account setup at an image hosting site, any other way to send these 2 pics your way?
Also check my edited initial post because I also noticed something regarding the GTN radios.

My Cockpit View Seems Askew
Hi guys….beautiful plane…really looking forward to getting to know her in and out! I was wondering about this issue I’ve noticed. It seems my viewpoint is not lining up properly and this is making crosswind approaches very difficult to judge if your nose is pointing straight or no...

Purchase FSX version today and change to P3D later?
Lewis Hi - getting ready to download the Comanche and I was wondering how things would work since I do not yet own P3D if I just go ahead today and only purchase the FSX version, but then at some point in the future if I decide to buy into P3D how would go about upgrading the Comanche to the P3D ver...

just curious here regarding the taxi/landing light...are they the older style in the way that they illuminate the ground surface or the newer "lotus" style?

If it were me... having a business event such as this that could lead to potential issues of the day stealing away my full attention from my child's most important day seems like not the greatest of ideas. I'm sure Jake would understand since he is involved...but still...as a father I don't think I'...
