Re: Elevator trim handle in "notches"?
Hello Bob, No, this isn't how it should be working, the trim response should be smooth and continuous, so sounds like something is amiss with your hardware setup. This could be something like a control conflict, if you can give us a little more info on how the hardware is assigned (e.g. what softwar...

Re: Cockpit registration gone
Okay, cheers Ron, Maybe the issue here is other developers who incorporate modified versions of "registration.html" with their products without renaming it. More discussion on this here. https://devsupport.flightsimulator.com/t/bug-airplane-registration-stroke-color-and-font/5267/4 Must ad...

Re: Cockpit registration gone
Please could you try searching both your community and official folders for the string "registration_vc" and let us know if it turns up any files Ron, other than those in the Comanche's folder.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Brakes not holding
Hello Rolf,
If you have the realistic parking brake option selected via the tablet, you'll need to depress your toe brakes before you pull the parking brake handle. If you prefer not to have to do this, you can uncheck this option.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Cockpit registration gone
Any new add-ons recently installed Ron? As you'll see from topics like this one, other stuff in the community or official folders can mess with how registrations are displayed.
Makes troubleshooting issue like this one so much more fun.
Cheers,
Nick

Re: Cockpit registration gone
A reinstall certainly wouldn't do any harm Ron, and you could also try deleting the cached stuff for the Comanche, in other words, all the files other than the 'work' directory in the "...\LocalState\packages\a2a-aircraft-pa24" folder.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Enhancement Request GPSS
Well, the S-TEC 30 does need a bit of help with any turns (or at least sharp ones) in a GPS flight plan Rob, it's just trying to keep the CDI centred and doesn't have any intercept routine to steer itself onto the next leg. However, no plans at this time to add further autopilot options Sportster64....

Re: Prefer the old Comanche to the new (Landing-Wise)
As for power management, whereas in P3D power could be chopped much earlier and glide in for a nice high nose flare and smooth touchdown, in the MSFS power needs to be reduced very gradually, idling only when just above rwy surface during flare. In MSFS, just as in P3D, you can pull the power compl...

Re: Cockpit registration gone
Hi Ron, Hmm, sounds like the "Registration_vc.css" or "Registration_vc.html" files may be corrupted somewhere. Might be worth temporarily moving all the repaints (I guess there are a few! :) ) out of the community folder, then trying a reload to see if the issue persists. Cheers,...

Re: Weird crosswind takeoff behavior
Hello Bob, Thanks for the interesting post. What you should be seeing is that the weather-vaning tendency which is rather exaggerated in MSFS in general is much less of a factor in the Comanche provided she has plenty of weight on her tyres. For example, during regular taxiing, it shouldn't require ...

Is that both vids or just the FSX one? They both should be public, i.e. anyone with the link can view.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Prefer the old Comanche to the new (Landing-Wise)
For what it's worth guys, during the development and testing process of the MSFS Comanche, I made scores of landings with the new Comanche flight model as it evolved, from time to time jumping back into P3Dv5 to cross check with behaviour there. Whenever I did, I was always struck by how much more '...

Re: A follow up on the frozen engine analyzer on XBOX
Hi Frank,
Does the Xbox edition of MSFS have an entry in the general setting for "glass cockpit refresh rate" under graphics? If so, please could you check and see what this is set to?
Thanks,
Nick
