Re: 430/530 gps does not couple with hsi

In terms of the GNS not coupling to the HSI, would you be able to post a screenshot or two showing the cockpit setup when this happens? It's not something I'm currently able to reproduce. I also found another small malfunction with the GNS 430/530. After start up you cant get past the Database Page ...

Re: 430/530 gps does not couple with hsi

Are there any news on this topic? I just purchased the Comanche and have the same problem. The HSI only shows a To indication, but the needle stays centered all the time. The Autopilot is also not following the GPS Track. Will there be an update fixing this problem soon? Not sure if you 've read th...

Hi Pramod,

Yes, I saw that. Did you read my post above?

Thanks,
Nick

Re: Audio Panel again

No worries and no need for apologies Frank, it's a well-known fact that putting any info in a FAQ topic is the best way to hide it.

All the best,

Re: Wasp Nest

Yes, there's a reason for every one of the walkaround stations. In the OP's case it was probably a rag that had been carelessly left in the intake, as ClipperLuna says. We did consider a wasp nest, but realised that modelling and animating all the wasps would add another year or so to the developmen...

Re: Big Problem with FS20

Hi Rioku,

Were you using DX12 and frame generation before? In any case, might be worth giving it a try. You could also try updating DLSS to the latest version using DLSS swapper.

Re: Comanche 1" above ground and engine dies

Pramod, Please can you cast your mind back to when the problem started, and give us as much info as possible about the system crash you mentioned. For example, what hardware was involved? I also want to mention that the problem started after I had a crash due to one of my hardware controllers. So, m...

Re: Audio Panel again

Hi Frank, Hopefully the info below from the FAQ topic will help. Why can’t I hear a morse ident tone from the NAV radios? For NAV ident on the Narco radio sets, you'll have to pull the IDENT knob out too. You can use the middle mouse button for this if you use the default 'lock' cockpit interaction ...

Re: JPI EDM 830 units for temperature and fuel

Hi Andrew,

Hope you're enjoying getting to grips with a new sim and reacquainting yourself with the Comanche.

No, we didn't model the configuration menus for the EDM 830. The Lyco 0-540 is built in the U.S. of A. and really doesn't appreciate being probed metrically!

Cheers,

Re: RealTurb compatibility

Not familiar with this add-on I'm afraid, and there don't seem to be too many YouTube videos showcasing it with GA aircraft, but this one seems to suggest it works with the Comanche. https://youtu.be/d9mQaM6SzxQ?si=F9USCuso1JxMn0ZU In any case, the Comanche's external flight model reacts to turbulen...

Re: Paro - VQPR runway 15 approach

Hi Saqquarah, It shouldn't be too tricky to get the Comanche up to 17,000' in the sim and hypoxia isn't simulated at present. You'll need to make sure you lean the mixture appropriately though. You can 'cheat' and use the engine analyser page of the tablet to help with this if you like: just adjust ...

Re: Comanche 1" above ground and engine dies

Thanks for posting the video Pramod. It doesn't appear to show slew mode being toggled on and off as requested, but nonetheless something seems to be stopping the standalone flight model from initializing properly. This is the first time we've seen such behaviour since the aircraft was released in J...

Re: Not finding installation of PA24

Hello Rich,

Afraid I don't really understand the problem you're describing. From your previous posts, the aircraft is/was installed okay in MSFS, so could you try to clarify a bit what exactly isn't finding the Comanche installation.

Thanks,
Nick

Re: Landing Issue

Hello Gerald, Landing gear collapse due to damage from a hard landing isn't modelled, but it sounds like a wing lifted during your landing (perhaps there was a tricky crosswind?) which might have given the impression of this. We're a bit limited with what damage can be simulated in situation like th...

Re: Speed perception

Hi JKdad212, Your zoom level can have a pretty significant impact on speed perception in the sim, so might be worth checking this is consistent across the aircraft in question. I had a quick play around with changing the sim rate and can't reproduce any ill effects. Also, it's very obvious when the ...
