Re: gtn750

Thanks for the reply Nick.
Same problem with the c172
I have 'bodged' it by pasting a gtn750 picture into the c8t texture file (not perfect, but better than a blank)

Re: gtn750

Using windows 10 fsx steam.
gps rxp gtn750
Working fine in panel but does not show in external view (I know it is trivial but bonanza does show it externally when you select gtn750 in shift3 menu)

gtn750

How do I get the gtn750 to show in outside view cockpit. If I select no gps it works but if I select gtn750 it shows blank space where it should display.

Re: Not up to A2A standard

Thanks for the reply Nick I am using fsx steam. The 172 & 182 depict pilot wearing seatbelt? The sound problem occurs at idle - sound disappears, also during flight, if you change settings, the external sound goes 'flat'. On cockpit gps the tooltip labels for zoom in/out are reversed. Still love...

Not up to A2A standard

It is with some trepidation that I write this but The V35, to me , lacks the perfection seen in all the other releases. Examples: 1 Nosewheel disappears into ground on braking. 2 Seat belts not correctly portrayed in external view. 3 Compass card and other details not portrayed in external view. 4 D...

External view

My attempt to make external view more realistic:

added compass card
added egt gauge
added gps/nav switch

Re: compass

Found it in forum, vc8.dds contains the calibration card. Delete whole grey rectangle if card not wanted.

compass

Why do some repaints show compass with calibration placard and others do not?

white rectangle

Since update, in external view, I now have a white rectangle on top of the radio stack. The proportions vary if you select no gps etc from the shift 3 menu.

regards
Mike

Update: It appears the radio stack visuals are missing from the V35_cockpit_ext_dds artwork.

Throttle response

Not just the 172, but the a2a throttle response is almost like a jet , considerable delay, I assumed that most piston engines have instant response to throttle input.
Am I missing a setting somewhere or is this normal?

Mike
