Re: About the auto-pilot
It is not a VFR plane, it is IFR and VFR capable, what you want is an airplane in which the autopilot will do everything for you It has some IFR capability but you can't use it to learn IFR, just a few things. No NAV mode, no APR mode As an instrument-rated, private pilot in real life, I can assure...

Re: Wings swinging / wiggling on ground with v 1.1.0
Scott, For me personally, there is good that came out of this. In my testing efforts, it forced me to go back and re-look at my graphics settings which I haven't touched in a few years. They were all wrong. With a few settings changes, I bumped my frames from high-teens/low 20s up to mid-to-high 30s...

I wish I had something to add. Sandy is doing a great job. The experiments I ran last night were very similar with the same results.

The trigger being the 22fps threshold?

Re: Wings swinging / wiggling on ground with v 1.1.0
I have the same problem now with 1.1. I attributed it to the tweak you made to deal with wing flex at low FPS. I, too, had the wing tip tanks on. I haven't tried it yet without. For me, it happens all the time. My way to describe it is that it seems they are now just way overly sensitive to winds. M...

It didn't occur to me that you could click on those dots. I always just use the left and right arrows.

Re: A Dream to Fly
I figured. It's the ideal goal in software development, isn't it? If the model is correct, nothing special needs to be done. Bravo.

A Post-Flight walk around
I just had an idea. You do an external pre-flight walk around so well. How about a post-flight walk around where you only hit the spots needed to secure the plane? For example, the tie-downs, the pitot-tube cover, the wheel chocks, and the baggage.
Just a random thought.

A Dream to Fly
This plane is a dream to fly. It's simply a dream to fly.
One of my little personal tests for the quality of a plane is how well it slips. This plane slips exactly like a plane should. It's beautiful. Crosswind landings are so much fun now.
Thank you A2A.

Re: Looking for correct command to bind for Honeycomb Alpha
Toggle Master Battery and Alternator
And for the Nav Lights brightness knob, I bound the commands the autopilot increase/decrease rotate knob respectively. It's kinda hokey, but it works. Just remember to clear out any other bindings that are tied to Nav Lights or Panel Lights.

Spad.next cost money I'd rather not spend if possible. I've made it 18 years so far without it.

Re: A2A Comanche - Honeycomb MASTER BAT switch not working
I figured out that this switch is bound to the "Master Battery and Alternator" toggle. That was problem 1 solved. Problem two is that, on my Honeycombs, I don't have a spare toggle to give to the cause. I'm forced to use the Alt switch which is a rocker switch and not a toggle. For the tim...

Re: GPS moving map rotates with the DG.
Huh. Weird. I guess the course-over-time approach is the way I thought the GPSs always did it. I never new HSI data was fed into those things. Well, regardless. This is a fantastic plane. All the others are dead to me now.

GPS moving map rotates with the DG.
The Comanche is back! And it's better than ever! I'm loving it. Excellent work A2A!!!! Now, onto my question. Is anyone else seeing the 430 and 530 GPS moving map rotate (in Track-Up mode) when you adjust the DG for gyro drift? In North-Up mode, the aircraft rotates in place on the map. Thanks in ad...

Re: N46677 Lives Again
Hey Folks, Just a heads up. After a little bit of recent chatter on the Screenshots thread, I realized that I had an update to this paint scheme that I never formally released. You can find the update on AVsim here: https://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=209843 Also, see the chatter in the Scre...
