New user issues
Hi all, new to MSFS and just bought the Comanche. Noticed a few things, maybe this is intended behavior too. 1. During walk around, when I get to the "central fuel sump" page, the test fuel jar that's there will not move in any way. It does on the other stations where this jar is. 2. I can...

Re: Change a dme to a vor in fsx ?
Thanks Jacques. Will probably try creating a new navaid near by soon. I have ADE installed but it wants the path to the SDK. I have my DVD drive unplugged (was making to much noise) Just need to find the time to plug it back in and grab the SDK off my gold edition disks, haha.

Re: Change a dme to a vor in fsx ?
Agreed. Will probably just leave it as is (no dvor reading on first leg) I've been flying this route for to many years to want to change it up, haha.

Re: Change a dme to a vor in fsx ?
Thanks Flapman. "It's a TACAN" helped a lot. I found instructions for converting a TACAN to a VOR, might try them out tomorrow. It involves a recompile, yikes. Thanks again for the help.

Re: Change a dme to a vor in fsx ?
Thanks Dudley, I will keep an eye on this post. Thanks again for the help getting the p-51 off the ground, that Merlin is no joke!! If this can be done, editing files via direct xml or ade will be required (guessing)

Change a dme to a vor in fsx ?
Hi all, trying to get the dvor instrument to work during the first leg of my most flown plan. It is not working at the moment as fsx sees this as a dme and not a vor. Wondering if there is a way to change this dme to a vor in fsx? (CYZX)
Thanks,
Mike
Thanks,
Mike

Re: P-40 'Civilianized' Mods
Does anyone know if this still works in 2020? I can get the GPS 2D window working but the autopilot one does not.

Re: fuel flow gauge under reading fixing issue
Same with me in FSX boxed. Restarting the sim did not work. I ended up clicking repair all (which worked) and lost all my engine hours. I would of thought overhaul engine would be the one to loose all engine hours but repair all did it too.

Re: Visible tilt to the left / Mph gauge ?
Thanks all, just completed my first successful flight. "When in cruise at cruise power, center the ball with rudder trim and then adjust aileron trim." took care of the plane appearing tilted during cruise. Loving this plane more and more as I learn. I have bought everything A2A has put ou...

Re: Visible tilt to the left / Mph gauge ?
Thanks Alan, it is FSX Gold edition I am using. Trying this again now making sure to keep the stick a little aft of center until I build up enough speed. On all my attempts so far, wing tanks around %70 (each) and under carriage %50. Rudder trim was 6 degrees and elevator trim 2 degrees nose down. I...
