Thank you all. I just used the Garmin 1000 as an example. Looks like I will stay with what I have got.

I understand I can only use the default GPS. But say I would like to install another GPS say the Garmin 1000 would it be possible? Or am I restricted what I can use that is shown in the configurator?

Re: Turn rate adjustment when using AP
Many thanks for your replies. The STEC-30 is a rather basic autopilot - it doesn't fly turns in NAV mode - typically - you would switch to HDG mode when approaching your turn point - turn the aircraft with the HDG Bug - then put it back in NAV mode once established on the new leg course Strangely I ...

Turn rate adjustment when using AP
Hi Team, can anyone advise how to adjust the turn rate when using AP please?
When using GPS with a flight plan on sharp waypoint turns, the Commanche is a bit slow in the turn because the rate is shallow. Would like it to get to at least a rate 1 turn.

Re: Ident signal button
Alan thank you for your response. I don't think it does send the ident as I was flying with IVAO and ATC asked me to Squawk ident and although I switched to alt on the radio stack I also had to ident on the IVAO panel. I have the idea that Alan's answer isn't the one to your question. Hi Puk, yes yo...

Ident signal button
Hi Team, can you help please? When connected online with either Vatsim or IVAO you are requested to squawk mode Charlie. I know this is to show your position on radar for ATC. My question is..... Does the ident and setting ALT on the Squawk panel within the Comanche do anything (send a signal) or is...

Not that simple eh. Just thought I could just get into the .cfg and change the callsign. You would need to have some sort of paint programs such as Photoshop,

Hi George many thanks for the Blue repaint really good job. I will also add the black job soon.
I have never done a repaint so I have no idea how to do anything like you have. But is it possible to show me how I can put my callsign on the fuselage please?

Re: Frame rates drop when in 3D cockpit
In FSX, even the mouse cursor when it's visible tends to make frame rates drop; this is because of its interaction with the click-spot functionality in the VC. You may have hit the nail on the head with the above. With the cursor I get much reduced rates than without it. I must admit I do use the c...

Frame rates drop when in 3D cockpit
Hi Team, Happy New Year to you all. Not sure if this has been asked before. But I am experience frame rates drop when in 3D cockpit with the Commanche 250. If I am outside the aircraft I get approx 40 FPS when setting at 40. Where in cockpit mode it drops to 15 Fps. These are approx for each fllight...

Re: SimConnect not connecting again
For your box install, what was the issue you had intially? This is from a previous post back in May Having recently changed from W7 32 to W10 64 at that time I did a fresh install of both versions but forgot to add SP1 & 2 to the boxed FSX. For the box install what is different about that compa...

Re: SimConnect not connecting again
have you reinstalled simconnect and then restarted the system and then tried? Yes I have. Does the sim connect have to be inside the folder of FSX? At the moment I have placed it on my desktop and installed from there. Is this correct? I did have a problem with SP1 & 2 before and def installed ...
