Aircraft Configurator not found
Yesterday, I uninstalled fsx box edition yesterday to change it out for fsx:se. When I was installing the A2A aircraft, my T6, PA24, Spitfire and C182 all worked fine and I was able to open the aircraft config app. However, when I open my C172 and PA28 aircraft config it says that the app is not fou...

Re: Cherokee Repaints Request
Hi! I'm Dafydd, a RL Pilot undertraining from South Wales, UK. The club I fly with operate two PA28's (G-EEKY, G-AXIR) I was wondering if anybody would be kind enough to produce these liveries for me? (G-AXIR's name is Meika, if you can, could you please place this where 'Leanne' is on G-EEKY) Many ...

VFR Flights within the UK?
Hiya! Yesterday I installed the A2A Cherokee 180 and what a beauty she is! Today I've mostly just done circuits and maneuvers, so here is my question to you, are there any good VFR Flights to do within the UK using the Cherokee? Anything between 30 mins and 2 and a half hours? Thank you in advance, ...

More GA/VFR Events on VATSIM in Britain?
Hi All! Hope you had a great Christmas I was just wondering, what areyour thoughts on having more VFR/GA Events in the UK? All I have seen lately on the Events page is IFR and Big airports e.g. Heathrow having real ops (GA isn't really part of this) :( SO yeah, I would love to hear you guys' opinion...

Re: OBS not working
Hi Dafydd, Typically RAF stations in the UK have a TACAN rather than a VOR, so as I understand it, to a radio on a civil aircraft they'll function as DME only. WIT (Wittering) is definitely one such example. GOS (Gloucester) is just a DME I believe, or was anyway. I've updated the navdata in my FSX...

OBS not working
Yesterday I got the Cessna 172 and what a lovely aircraft it is! Today I decided to do a VFR Flight from Cardiff (EGFF) to Fenland (EGCL) using VOR Navigation these are the three VORs I used: GOS 115.55 DTY 116.40 WIT 117.60 I was cruising up at 6000 feet however the VOR's were not being detected by...

Re: Good Short to Medium Flights to do in the Piper Comanche
KHQM Bowerman and 2S1 Vashon have freeware files that enhance them above PNW even. Check out the freeware section on the Orbx website. Vashon Island is unique in that it is a grass strip that is lit at night. Finally! A freeware airport :) I'm happy to say I've found a freeware EGFF with an add-on ...

Re: Good Short to Medium Flights to do in the Piper Comanche
Hi That's a pretty hard question to answer! The Comanche has a very log range so it's really up to you what type of flight you want to do. Most people will choose a route depending on what scenery they want to see. The most popular scenery just now is Orbx. Do you own any of their scenery? If you d...
