P3D v6 and A2A
Assuming Prepar3D ever issues v6, will A2A ever update aircraft for that?

And that is, indeed, the mode needed. Thanks so much!Tomas Linnet wrote: ↑28 Dec 2022, 07:15 Did you try the "CRS" mode instead? I'm pretty sure that's what I'm using

I didn't think this was a terribly difficult question to answer, but it seems I was mistaken.

Yes, as a matter of fact, there is a way.

Is there any way of assigning engine sounds only to external speakers?
The subject line pretty much says it all.
I'm using P3Dv5. From what I can see, I can only assign all sounds (engines, cockpit, environment) together. What I'd like to do is just have the engines only played over the external speakers while all other sounds are played through my headset.

Re: Dump Levers . nothing works!
Try this:
function open_dump_chutes ()
-- dump chutes open --
ipc.writeLvar("L:FuelDumpLeftLever", 50)
ipc.sleep(200)
ipc.writeLvar("L:FuelDumpRightLever", 50)
end

end

Panel view questions
I'm using LINDA as well as FSUIPC along with P3D V5, on a WIN 10 system. I want to be able to, while sitting in the virtual cockpit, change POV using LINDA and a hat switch. Some of the views I'm wanting to see are Pilot Seat (default), Copilot seat (should be right seat), throttle quadrant, pilot e...

Re: Engine fire at startup
Ummm...not wanting to sound whiney, but this isn't the first time I, or someone else, has asked a question about the B-17's coding, with nary--as in none at all--a response from A2A. I've been feeling for a long time now as if the B-17 is the black sheep of the family. Chevalier And this simply pro...

Re: Engine fire at startup
I had a runaway turbo at startup recently. No fire. As a matter of fact, with over 2,000 hours on my engines I have never had an engine fire. That said, there is a great deal of code defining Engine Fires. There is a random number involved is some sections of the code and CHT involved in other sect...

Re: Engine fire at startup
Make sure your FSX or P3D realism settings aren't using automixture. Maybe you had a runaway turbo. That can blow an engine up very quickly. :o Argh!! ::bangs head on the wall:: Guys...guys...Listen. Please listen: I haven't had an engine fire at startup. I was asking if that was possible and had a...

Hi Chevalier. I would have a guess you was using real weather when this happened , and on a weekend , how many times has this happend to you sofar . Ummm...it hasn't ever happened. That's what I was asking: I've never had a startup engine fire, and was wondering 1) if anyone else had ever had that ...

Engine fire at startup
In all the many hours I've flown the B-17, and the countless times I've started engines, I've never had one catch fire during startup. Is this even possible/modeled?
