Re: XPlane 12

I don't know what region you VFR but I can tell you my home area, Pennsylvania USA has the correct rerrain and geography. The town footprints are mostly correct and the streets and roads. Enough so for me to VFR based on my native familiarity. I'm in Europe, maybe that explains why XPlane looks so ...

Re: Please consider developing for X-Plane 12 and beyond.

Our new Accu-Sim system is now 100% independent and computes frame by frame within the host platform. We support Laminar and want them to succeed in the post MSFS era. Since the new Accu-Sim tech driving the Comanche is independent of the host platform (MSFS, Xplane, etc.), it's now a realistic pla...

How about Xplane 12? I would love to see A2A make an entry to Xplane 12.
It's already better out of the box than P3D could hope to be and it's still young.

Xplane Version 12

For the last six months I have heavily been working with X-plane Version 12. It has made fantastic progress since the Beta release in September. The flight dynamics are fantastistic and the controller assignment options are nearly endless. It runs smooth on a 5 or 6 year old system and the lighting ...

Re: Wake turbulence is scary

I have been testing X-plane 12 Beta since September. It is supposed to have wake turbulance emulated now but I haven't had a chance to test it yet. Currently things like Baron 58 strut and wing flex, graphic pink outs, and ATC quirks are being ironed out. I have never experienced wake turbulance in ...

Re: Grandma is eighty-eight years old and still drives her own car.

She writes: Dear Grand-daughter, The other day I went up to our local Christian book store and saw a 'Honk if you love Jesus' bumper sticker. I was feeling particularly sassy that day because I had just come from a thrilling choir performance, followed by a thunderous prayer meeting. So, I bought t...

Re: Grandma is eighty-eight years old and still drives her own car.

My mother just turned 89 October 11th. She still drives. Has a leadfoot in fact but these days she doesn't go more than about a 10 mile range from our small town. If she needs to go to Harrisburg, PA our capital and 30 miles distant somebody else drives or shopping to Sunbury/Selinsgrove area 30 mil...

Re: XPlane 12

As a non-MP person, count me as another one who'd like a better ATC and ACC (area control centre) implementation. At least with good support for VFR and taxi. From what I've seen and heard of XP12, the scenery is still the same as X-Plane 11, so that's a big problem for me. As long as it's not poss...

Re: Goodyear FG-1D Corsair for sale.....

We have an organization in my area that would be a perfect home for a wartime/TV star Corsair.
MAAM at KRDG
If they would be interested. I think they are still working on their Black Widow.

Re: Mach Number

Much to my chagrin, I actually bought the Sabreliner, just before it became freeware. I agree that it's worse than a Carenado airplane, the LAST one of which I bought two years ago and flew for two minutes...I didn't know there was a lower quality level than Carenado... I too, was hopeful be...

Re: XPlane 12

I was reading posts on Avsim about XP 12. I noticed a lot of people, enchanted by the satellite visuals thrashing XP 12. But, as far as the demo even goes, it does seem to be a leap over 11. For me the problems are similar to 11. ATC AI traffic I want a better developed, closer to real world procedu...

Re: XPlane 12

My X-plane 11 works and looks well with X-America and other enhancements. I have the Zibo 737-800 which is a freeware PMDG for x-plane and my P3D v4 looks great with numerous Orbx dress ups and lots of custom airports. I will pass on XP 12 and see what gets fixed or improved.
