Re: static rpm
static RPM is on the ground only, take some pitch out of the prop and the static RPM will increase and vice versa. i have fiddled with the CFG file on the cub slightly gave it 85 horses and took a few degrees out of the prop, fully loaded at 2100 RPM at 2000ft AGL i get 65kts indicated.

The hydraulic handle can catch you out if you dont use the checklist or fly the P51 often. its part of my warm up scan.

GPU for the civvy mustang
The capacity of the battery on the civvy mustang is very low even with a fresh battery. i was tempted to go into the CFG file to give it a bit more capacity but thought against it. is there any chance of getting the GPU added in the next update. I'm currently trying to make a temperature/prime chart...

Primer location.
I'm wondering where the primer shot is actually sent on the engine, is it directly to the cylinders or into the intake manifold. I'm struggling to start the beast when it's close to freezing.

Re: Orlando to Oshkosh in the Bonanza non stop
Non stop not an issue if you have tip tanks and the wind in on your side, lean of peak 10000ft you will have plenty of reserves. Are you going IFR or VFR?

ADF issue..
I was planning on doing some instrument approachs with procedural missed approachs and realized only after the i was in the air and in the clouds with a ceiling of only 400ft that the ADF wasn't working. Using blackpool (egnh) ILS 28 which is a simple procedure in a normal aircraft but In a modified...

Re: Ummm, take off
I very rarely use full power (41 inches) in the P40 unless its fully loaded, Slowly stand the power up until you hit 30 inches let the prop bring the manifold pressure up to around 37 inches. Ive taken the steerable tail wheel off the P40 i find it alot easier to handle on the take off roll

Re: Supercharger handling
My apologies its about 15 it starts to drop, I've found myself switching to high manually. I'll try leaving it in auto and trusting that it will change on its own. Thanks for the help much appreciated
