Re: Kneeboard check list
Thank you very much Paughco! Your work inspired me a lot so I did the same for the B17, the B 377 and even the PMDG DC6(only for the runup which is pretty exhaustive). I made some "changes" according to my needs and based on my life experience as flight engineer. Because I'm totally ignora...

Re: Engines and accessories ground test
Hello TreeTops!
Thank you very much for your answer. I guess the point is I don't wait enough for the RPM decrease. These old ladies need more "patience" and care
Best regards
Pat

Engines and accessories ground test
Hello fellow L049 pilots! I've a problem with the ground test . Page 125 of the manual item 4 it is said to switch the blowers to high(with RPM <1200), then to increase RPM to 1800. I notice that when switching the blowers to high, RPM already increased around 1500. Fine so I increase a little bit m...

Re: C-1 Autopilot only partially functional
Hi Jacques! I guess you followed these steps: 0- All axis manually trimmed 1- Master switch ON 2- Centering at 0 3- After 10' of warmup and in cruise, Engage PDI Servo and ask bombardier to center PDI(Lights should extinguish) 4- Engage the 3 axis now. I proceeded this way and it worked. I noticed t...

Re: C-1 Autopilot only partially functional
Hello Nick ans Jacques! I did a flight today and the AP C1 worked like charm in P3D4.5. I followed the C1 book, page 6 it is stated to place the "Master switch" on as soon as after takeoff and also at least 10 mn before use. I don't know if these conditions are simulated(Unit in temperatur...

Re: Autopilot does not seem to work
Okay, I’m also having a problem with the C-1 in P3Dv4. I had the different experience of only being able to command turns to the right…anything to the left was unresponsive. I think I’d like to test it again and observe the control surfaces while commanding them to the stops to get a more complete ...

Re: Autopilot does not seem to work
As I said the C1 works very well in FSX but doesn't work at all in P3D4 even if you "tweak" the different controls!

Re: Autopilot does not seem to work
Hi guys!
I confirm that the AP C1 doesn't work for me at least in P3D4.5. I just tried it in FSX and it worked flawlessly!

Re: Tuning your C-1 Autopilot
Hello!
I forgot to mention that it was in P3D4.5. I tried the settings you gave but I got exactly the same result as before, an inoperative AP. I have to try it in fsx now .

Re: Tuning your C-1 Autopilot
Thank you so much for the manual. I found the C1 pretty unresponsive(Fortunately the plane is really stable when trimmed) , I will try these settings!
