Hi Dudley,
Welcome 'Home'. Just remember, this is your primary hobby, finding Doctor's offices is secondary. Been there, done that.

Re: Has anyone done a pre-purchase on the new Microsoft FS 2020?
Hi Dudley, Pre-purchased mine a couple weeks back. Yes, as others have said, you must have a Microsoft account. I have had mine since Windows 10 also. The biggest issue is that you need to pay up front. They will want your email address as well. I have PayPal so that was not a big issue. Here is a l...

Re: MSFS 2020 Paint Kits
It would appear that you are correct. He entered '18' at the 10 minute mark and when the plane is on the runway at 14:53 in the video, the registration is '18'. However, the question still stands as there are too many interesting paint configurations for these aircraft to be stuck with what M$ issue...

MSFS 2020 Paint Kits
Has anyone heard or read anything about repaint kits for the new fleet of birds? From the M$ ads, all the birds have the same tail number and none start with an 'N' or other countries.

Re: Preventative maintenance on flaps
Be sure to watch for missing nuts (including the one in the FBO hangar) when the flaps get loose.

Re: Preventative maintenance on flaps
If/when I notice that (slow and quieter on pre-flight), I roll over to the hangar and have my friendly A&E take a look. If he throws a caution, they get changed out there. Haven't had one fail in flight since starting that practice. Like you, I try to be gentle on them, especially full flap on s...

Re: Yet another topic about MSFS2020
Throwing some mud into the game....What makes you (anyone) think that the current FSX birds won't fly in MSFS2020? Remembering back to the switch between FS9 and FSX and even further back, we were for the most part, able to convert the then 'purchased' birds into the new sim. As an A2A flyer, the on...

Re: Please disregard this request for help. :D
Yep ! And you have a choice of two. Flight 1 makes a 750, actually they make a 650 and a 750, that will work very well and Reality XP does the same. I have them both and have less problems with the Flight 1 and use it more often. One word of caution. Be SURE to do the updates if and when you purcha...

Re: Cherokee Paint request
I live south of 3CK and will do a paint or two, but photos are a must or get me clearance to come up on a nice day and shoot them myself. I don't do 100 F with 100 % humidity anymore (as in the week and next). PM me here on the forum. Currently painting a couple of overseas Cherokees so I'll be used...

Re: Laminar flow VS turbulent flow. NERD ALERT! :D
So then....Do vortex generators actually create a controlled laminar flow which in turn creates a turbulent flow in the desired location(s)? And, if that is the case, wouldn't every wing style and even every wing on the same plane (port and starboard) have different angles of installed vortex genera...

Pretty bird but very camera shy. There is only one photo that we could find of her on the internet. Re: Bonanza Finished Repaints
In early April a user requested a repaint of the RW N276BX. I have searched everywhere to see if this was done, but no luck. It is a beautiful bird ! Is anyone willing to attempt this ? Thank you. I am working on that very paint scheme right now with different colors. If you will wait a few days, I...
