Re: What's with the forum logo?

She is probably cached on your local system. We've wanted to expand her and A2A's image beyond this single picture for some time. We're not doing away with her by any means but while we are in this re-design we've put the P-40 logo up there. This P-40 image was created by A2A's Robert Rogalski. Scot

OK this is a confirmed bug, thanks for the post. The team needs to discuss an update.

Re: does the Connie simulate the engine cool down while PC's off?

Hi Zache, Persistence of engine temps while the PC is off was introduced with what we used to call "AccuSim Core" which was first introduced with the Spitfire. The Connie however uses the v.1.5 Accu-Sim system that also powers the Stratocruiser. We use this v1.5 tech to power 4 engine airplanes due ...

Alan,

Good point and I'll bring this up at the next meeting the possibility of making this change for an update and if it's not too much trouble.

Re: EULA Question: Recompiling A2A aircraft for FS2020?

So, it looks like getting an FSX aircraft into FS2020 may be possible, but will involve some conversion with the FS2020 dev kit. Before I start trying to figure out how to do that, I just want to check, is that permissable under the A2A EULAs, provided that one has the license to use the aircraft i...

Re: Rudder interconnect

OK I flew a bunch of approaches with a 17kt direct crosswind and had plenty of authority. You are correct that crosswind landings are harder in a sim that does not have feedback, whereas in the real airplane while still challenging the forces on the yoke make it more natural. At first in the sim, th...

Re: Rudder interconnect

Freightdawg, Thanks for the critique. I need to revisit this as I don't think the actual aileron deflection is being limited even though it may appear this way visually. Since most don't use force feedback, we have to simulate forces somehow by using stick deflection in all of our airplanes that wor...

Re: Pitch angle with gear and flaps

When the gear drops you are left with a large hole under the wing, a tire, strut and gear doors suddenly appear into the wind. And on each airplane this has a different impact on how both the main wing and horizontal stabilator is affected. Some behavior could be due to a vortex being spun off in so...

Re: Preventative maintenance on flaps

We can change air and fuel filters even when they're in the green. Please give us the ability to service our flaps before they fail. Thank you ATB ATB this makes sense so thank you for suggesting it. I'm putting it on my TO DO and will speak with the team about the feasibility of doing this. Scott

Re: Yet another topic about MSFS2020

It's not a bad thing in that we can take a fresh look at the world and decide the airplanes we want to make. The first project we made many years ago was a air combat add-on to Microsoft CFS3, called FirePOWER. This is the aircraft list: Arado AR234 B-17 B-29 D520 Do217n He162 Lancaster Me334 Me410...

Re: Will the Aerostar 600 be available for FSX?

We feel the same way with loyalty towards FSX and those who wish to stay on that platform. It's not 100% we won't be making for FSX as something big would have to change in expectations for that to happen. It's a completely different art pipeline and there are back end features we are now using in P...

Re: OAT Inaccurate ?

Avio, I'd have to look back into the code but I have a feeling we didn't carry this feature forward to our core airplanes. If that is the case we may add this back.

For the span of 25 hours flying this plane, i had encountered 2 times major hydraulic leaks that needed a fix.

Is this being over modelled?
This is likely just really bad luck (or good luck depending on how you look at it :) ).
