Re: Adding Skins
You haven't been looking for a Cessna have you? You might take a look under A2A. I used to insist that the manufacturer was Cessna not Carenado or A2A. I've got out of that habit now. Just a thought.

Re: Saitek TPM System toggle switches
Well done Jonas. Taking the tick out works! I was assuming that putting the tick in activated that function.

I tried that and the switch in the cockpit 'vibrates' when turned off.JonasBecsan wrote: ...Ron:
I assigned most of the switches using the "toggle" function and as long as I select it in both menus it behaves as a proper switch. Not sure why it doesn't work for you?

Maybe I've missed something.

Re: Saitek TPM System toggle switches
Despite my enthusiastic response to Nick's little work around, a little disappointment has set in. Landing lights=check, strobes=check, navigation lights=no check. The only reference to nav lights is 'Toggle nav lights'. Whereas the others have an On and an Off selection. Strange omission.

Re: Saitek TPM System toggle switches
Reading the above makes me wonder if you chaps could use the FSUIPC4 "control sent when button released" function to get the switches to work as desired? I don't own the TPM so can't test this for myself, but maybe it's worth a try... Cheers, Nick You've just switched a light on Nick. I h...

Re: Saitek TPM System toggle switches
Creating a linda module would be the best way to go. All of my toggles are programed with it and all switches work normal. It can be found here. http://www.avsim.com/forum/427-linda-downloads/ And Linda requires a full version of FSUIPC does it? :| Just wish there was a way to get this to work with...

Re: Saitek TPM System toggle switches
I have a TPM and all my lights(taxi/landing/strobes/nav/panel) plus AP functions are on it. I used to have them assigned through FSX but now use FSUIPC. So a bit of fiddling is in order. On investigation, landing lights are definitely assignable but not taxi lights. Treat yourself to FSUIPC, so much...

Re: Some news on MFG Crosswind rudder pedals
Apparently this missing-or-bad-paperwork thing is not unheard of with DPD shipments - here's a less happy experience . The last paragraph is a bit telling don't you think? Odd. I wonder how many parcels per year are handled by--any one of the carriers and what the percentage of cock-ups there are. ...

I just now read that forum. I love the excitement that's generated. Even poor old Lucky was delighted when he finally got them. We're going to have to put our Crosswind serial numbers in our signatures! 1034.

Re: MFG Crosswind - (too late for first impressions) Impress
Good write up Jim. I'd agree to everything you've said. The tipping up syndrome I was prepared for well before buying (a video/review somewhere) so I had a nice piece of 5/8" plywood cut to size, ready and waiting. I have a very deep desk so the 'wall spacers' I didn't even bother fittin...

Re: Joke of the day
...And Spad, I don't think there's anything "chauvinistic" about joking/suggesting than men find women to be puzzling sometimes. I'm bewildered by various things (astrophysics for example) but that doesn't mean I don't have a great deal of respect for (and interest in) them. :) Cheers, Ni...
