40 deg F isn't the limit. If it is then something is not correct. I will check this out.

Re: 1.3 The brake hoses disappear on closer look
This is due to some limitations with 3d modeling. The same happens with the oil on the stick if you zoom in too much.

Re: Auto Rudder Not Working
This was tested and working before we released the last update. I will test again just to be sure.

Re: Asymmetric flaps – no asymmetric lift?
I'll test the flaps again just to be sure. And yes the asymmetric fuel balance is proper too. It's not as hard as you might think to fly with full fuel in one tip with the other empty. The forces going over the wing are quite strong.

And they are extremely effective too moving loads of air into the cockpit.

Re: Emergency Gear Handle
This is correct behavior. When you use the emergency gear extension, we are simulating the detachment of the motor from the gear transmission, so the motor is free running.

Re: Asymmetric flaps – no asymmetric lift?
These flaps do certainly each produce lift in their locations. If a flap was to lock down while the other is up, the roll force is strong. If a flap breaks and is loose, the weight of the flap (gravity) will produce some roll too, but easily manageable with opposite aileron. You will notice the flap...

Re: Engine heater not working
I’ll check this, it should be heating the oil up more than 40 deg.

I reached out to Brunner again and they are sending us a unit. I'll let you know when we have it and testing begins.

Re: Possible Airframe Inspection problem
Theoretically this is possible to happen at the moment since we model the strength of the gear extending and retracting along with forces applied against it, but I don't see how it would. Accu-Sim is so organic, it's difficult to say exactly what is or isn't possible with 100% accuracy as there are ...

Re: Blue Exhaust Bubbles
So if I am seeing black puffs from the exhaust how do I correct it I tried leaning way down until the exhaust manifolds started turning green and I even backed off on the throttle but the smoke remained. What would be the proceedure to fix it? This is normal, nothing to fix. The combustion process ...

Re: Turbulence settings - MSFS
Speaking of turbulence settings, have we discovered yet what the Accu-Sim specific options do; VR versus flat-screen? Is the VR option just the standard 'anti-sickness' motion reduction, or is there something special about it that, as a VR user, I should be using it? Try it, its the best invention ...

Re: Is it normal to use defroster for heating the cabin?
Not sure about that diagram, but the heat in my Comanche blows at the feet of both the pilot and co-pilot. The heat that is supposed to go through the side panels to the rear doesn't really work as it was meant too, but the heat permeates regardless. The defroster has two very low power vents and it...

Re: Accelerated wear
The accelerated wear simply accelerates whatever wear is occurring inside the engine by that amount. We thought long and hard about advancing the time and decided against it in the end.
