Re: The world's most feared fighter - the F-22

Just curious...what's all this talk about the F-22 'program' being 'ended'? I have friends who fly the damn thing. Just because we aren't building any more of them doesn't mean it's gone! Cripes, the airplane I fly stopped production in the 60's but still serves a purpose! :D Additionally...it's ki...

The 1943 roundel should be outlined in red, not gold.
Ummmm, do a Google Image search for this aircraft. This repaint is spot on perfect!
The U.S. Armed Forces never used a yellow-outlined roundel such as that one.

Re: Plane grazes tourist's hand - St. Barts

Wow, this is one way to remove oneself from the gene pool. https://youtu.be/YW64_KyfSj4 The pilot is pretty damn low  He could've killed the photographer ! It's not like he was sitting on the runway, he was standing by the public road ! Knowing that approach there is a fair chance the pilot ...

Re: primer lock

I second this request. If you leave it unlocked nothing may well happen, but it is a reality in the right alignment of conditions. Hmm, interesting! Apparently this varies in between the airplanes. This is because someone who specifically tested this told that he noticed no effects whatsoever from u...

The issue is whether there was an omission in development or not.

Re: Trimming : hat or wheel ?

I have buttons 3 & 4 on the top of my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro set as trim up/down. I find in real life I like to use electric trim to make small adjustments when in an easy cruise, especially in less stable weather situations. When I'm fooling around with personal short-field challenges or one-w...

Re: Minor observations

Flying a real C172R in real life for almost five years I never experienced a foggy canopy. You've probably also never experienced hypoxia, but they still model it. I've also never seen this kind of fogging in real life either. Vents closed up, OAT at 39° F, and a warm body just sitting there in ...

Cockpit Lights

Is there any reason why there is only a cockpit flood and no back/post lights for individual instruments? Make inside-outside contrast more challenging otherwise.
