Thx!
When I bought it in 2012, it had the McCaulley.

Re: Carb ice on 85F clean dry air?

If you suspect carb ice again check the engine analyzer and look at the carburetor. It should not be possible to have carb ice in 85 deg F. Maybe you were too lean and by pulling your carb heat the mixture was enriched and gave more power.

Re: Headset (and noise cancelling) - vent and wind sounds

I'm not modeling Bose noise cancelling but the headsets I currently use. However, this gives more flexibility with the ability to shape the sound however you want. Think of this this way: - If you want lower wind noise install sound insulation - If you want more lowered wind and other noise in gener...

Re: Headset (and noise cancelling) - vent sounds

Hello A2A staff, this came to my attention a while ago - a very minor issue, but as there are no major ones - here you are :) The sound of the various vents inside the aircraft are not affected by the noise cancelling function of the headset nor by putting on the headset itself. The engine sound, o...

Re: Wear vs. failure probability

Wear rate is just what you would think it is, over time parts that move and make contact with other parts slowly wear down. If a part is left indefinitely it will eventually wear away to an ultimate failure. But this is just one kind of failure. There are countless reasons a machine can fail before ...

Re: To Scott and team - thank you

Thanks for the compliments. This last month has been a dream for us, seeing so many people enjoying the same things we enjoy. You just never quite know if you are sort of alone in your passions or if others feel the same way. Thanks again.

Re: Comanche Tutorial Videos - NEW Engine Starting Video

From the sounds of emptying the Fuel/Water test bottle, it's as if it is being emptied on the ground. If there is no water in that fuel why not put it back in the tank and keep that much less aviation fuel off the ground. The fuel is actually being put back in the tank. BTW, we just put out a new t...

Re: Why would you want to switch tanks?

"I'm curious as to how much a 0/30 fuel balance difference actually makes." It's not as much as you would think to fly with one tip tank full and the other empty. I've done it and at that time said "I have to remember this and try it out in the sim." Accu-Sim models this just li...

Re: Does Accusm model the Comanche 'wheelbarrowing'

Yes you can get some wheel barrowing if you land with the nose wheel first. The smaller nose wheel reduced this tendency.

Re: Why would you want to switch tanks?

It's best practice to only draw from one tank at a time because you can better track the exact amount in each tank. Also, if you ever have a fuel issue or maybe contaminated fuel in the tank you are drawing from, you have another tank to go to. There also can be feeding issue if both tanks are selec...
