Re: T6 PHOTO
Nice mustache Not quite, "Tally ho, bandits at twelve o'clock" but it will do. Never been tempted to shave it off, afraid that I'd look like my sister. Nothing wrong with people in T-6s with mustaches. But then looking at my most recent photos, I'd shaved it off when last flew a T-6 a few...

Re: T6 PHOTO
Wonderful photo John....I did the colour scheme for that T-6G when it had to be repainted to please the CAA! :) Somehow I think the following won't be re-created by A2A....:) http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w447/T6flyer/T-6agmoreSprayer.jpg The single seat duster http://i1076.photobucket.com/alb...

Re: Accu-sim T6 Texan goes into active development
I bet you couldn't be more happy that A2A is making the T6, Mr. T6flyer? A2A is the company for doing this justice. :) Very pleased. Was all for packing in the simulator, having barely used it over the last few months and then read about this over at Sim-Outhouse. So will be staying around for a wh...

Re: Accu-sim T6 Texan goes into active development
Small world aviation.......I used to fly a lot in D-FAME when she was based at North Weald in the 1990s. Here are two photos of her as 'Super Slug' when she was a Reno Racer. Note the difference in canopy from the stock Harvard Mk.4 to that of the pure Racer with the rear SNJ-6/T-6F section fitted. ...

Re: T6 manual and blueprint
Welcome aboard. I see you are familiar with Stoney and the gang. Good bunch at NATA. I instructed aerobatics and was a check pilot in T6's (G) and have several hundred hours in the airplane. You will be quite pleased with the A2A "Accusim touch" when applied to the 6. The graphics artist ...

Re: T6 manual and blueprint
It's an advanced trainer for RAF types, used to teach flying high performance etc after the student had learnt how to fly from say a tiger moth. Lots of variants, lots of uses though esp in the any different countries and airforces/services too. Glad to have you here Martin, feel free to share your...

Re: T6 manual
Think I have nearly every T-6 manual with almost every book printed in any language too. Over 3000 period photos and well almost anything and everything. Never liked Spitfires or Phantoms, when a little lad, it was this noisy trainer for me and nothing else. Perhaps I fell out of bed the wrong side ...

Re: Accu-sim T6 Texan goes into active development
Found a good article yesterday via Facebook. Although this is for the postwar Harvard Mk.4. Still a very good read.

Re: Accu-sim T6 Texan goes into active development
Well, that initial render certainly looks gorgeous! Though I've never had a particular interest in the Texan, I'll be joining the queue when it's done. :D Incidentally, for those asking "how about the Harvard?" is there any real difference between the Texan and the British Commonwealth ve...

Re: Accu-sim T6 Texan goes into active development
I for one, had given up on simulator flying recently, but reading about this over at SOH today, have now decided to hang around for a little while longer. Really looking forward to this, but like the first publicity shot for the F-117, its kind of difficult to see what model it is, or a mix up of va...
