This link below holds an illustrated collection of all objects that folks can place into the game.
Borton and his son made it. It is divided into types of objects and easy to use.

Note! This list and the illustrations are current for BoB v2.11.
Borton and I shall update this post when new objects are made for the next version.
Thanks, Borton! I refer to it frequently whilst fiddling with the sim.

The Battle of Britain Object Library
Re: The Battle of Britain Object Library

Just a note to let interested people know that I have incorporated additions and changes to the Library, with thanks to Stickman and Ben.
They include camouflaging existing airfield buildings,e.g. hangars and some new warships.
Andrew has also made the search routine much more effective. Try entering a single word e.g. Pylon and, if it is part of the Description of an object, the Library will find it. Previously, only the Keywords were seekable!

Hi, Borton. Just wanted to thank you for the Object Library. Seeing all the items brings back a lot of memories. I was in the RAF as a GCA Operator and ATC Operator at RAF Oakington just outside Cambridge, from 1950 to 1952, and a lot of these items are like old friends. From your avatar I see you also were in the same service. When and where were you?borton wrote:30 October 2011

There is hopefully a museum going to be made to commemorate the people and the airfield itself. http://forum.keypublishing.com/showthread.php?t=105431

Re: The Battle of Britain Object Library
My avatar is a photograph of my wife's Uncle Tom who, apparently just missed the Battle. I was just 3 years old when it started, so they must have reckoned I was too young!whizkid wrote:From your avatar I see you also were in the same service. When and where were you?
Re: The Battle of Britain Object Library
A nice object reference guide that, absolutely.
"Ah yes, Michael (Parkinson)," Bader replied, "But these particular Fockers were Messerschmitts..."

Yes, it quietly disappeared around 2016, along with the host. Enquiries yielded no response. Rather unfortunate as
it could have been preserved if previous notice had been provided. And it never got collected by the Wayback Machine.
