Really like all these repaints. Some talented artist out there to say the least. Keep up the good work my fellow painters! 8) :)

Dimus,

Thanks again for the info on using your tinted windows... amazing (to me, at least) how much more you feel like you are actually inside a cockpit now, to me the original windows are virtually non-existant in the VC, you feel like you are flying without any

I wonder, would it be difficult to increase the level of "reflections" in the windows, so that the very subtle view of the panel and seat reflections which is now there, is made much more visible? I know that Carenado does this with their planes (as well s adding just a bit of dirt and spots to the windows), and this makes them truly feel like real aircraft plexi.

I ask this as you seem to be the only painter currently doing some work with the windows, and you seem to have "the touch":-)

Best,

Joel

A new project, still some details to be added.
Thank you A2A for this paintkit terribly well conceived and easy of employment.

Thanks again Joel! The tint is really quite simple, just add a colour on top. Personally I like the subtle reflections, they look real, but if you like I can play a bit with the alpha channel and see what I can do.

How about this?

I just increased the contrast and the brightness of the alpha channel.
I still think the effect is borderline in terms of realism but if you like it the texture is here:

Put it inside any of your repaints folder. This works only with clear glass, not tinted. If you want I can make a tinted one too.

The reflections look fantastic Dimus, can't thank you enough... Am away from my computer until tomorrow night but they look fantastic even on my iPhone! Can't wait to download and fly with them when I get back.

So can I send you a bottle of wine or something for a version with the blue tint?:-)

Best, Joel

Someone with much better skills than mine can surely make it better.

Hi all.

Just updated my post on page 5 (http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtop ... 58#p272858) - UPDATE on the HB-CHX (black panel) and HB-CZO as new aircraft in the Swiss A2A fleet. Happy landings!

That cockpit looks embarrassingly realistic. Well done - grabbing it now, thanks!
