I use ms paint ,and DXTBMP, but when I downloaded the paint kit it still has
the writing on it and the brown paint stripes etc, would love just a white
kit if possible..thanks , love flying this thing when I get the chance!
Check out paint.net. It's a lot easier to use than the Gimp and it probably will do everything you need.

Just added G-BFGE to the Avsim library.
This was a Cessna 172N Skyhawk in the 1977 Cessna factory colours. It was registered to Northair Aviation in Leeds and operated by Edinburgh Flying Club. Another G- registration to add to the list.
I managed a few hours in the real thing in 1978 but no idea what became of it since. I struggled to get pictures of 'Golf Echo' online so I eventually found a photo I took of it at the time for reference.

Hot off the press in the AVSIM library. Based on a 1997 C172 that operates at a local flying school at Centennial Airport (KAPA).

Spend some time learning to repaint, the paintkit provided was great to use, even for a beginner. Thanks for a great product A2A hopefully this is worth a post. She is based on a real Aircraft housed at LJBL in Slovenia.

Damn! Very nice! I've got to visit this thread more often- since the release of the C182 I've been slacking... 8)

I'm doing my first repaint using Paint.Net. It's going ok now, but I'd like to do a shiny chrome prop spinner, and I'm not sure how to do that. Can anyone help me with that?

Here is my first repaint. It's not quite done and I'm sure I've made some mistakes. It's a 100% fictitious plane with Panamanian registration. I even altered some of the pilot/passengers somewhat. I don't want to upload it until I fix any mistakes and make it look a little better.
