It's in the Avsim library at library.avsim.net (you need to have a login there). Search for a2a_c172_virtual_cockpits.zip

Cheers,
Finally! Thanks!

Super work - I'm really impressed!

The black cockpit reminds me of the version I used to fly in real life.

Thank you!

I cannot seem to find it there. Has it been removed?

I love these VC cockpit mods! One small question. After I installed the Accu-Sim update released in June 2015, the GPS in the VC mods started appearing improperly. This does not occur with the normal A2A C172 VC. Nor was this a problem before the update. Any advice on how to fix this?

Hi Alex,

If you take a look at this post in the Cherokee forum, there's mention of how to resolve much the same issue. It involves deleting the "vc8.dds" texture from the repaint folder.

Indeed these are some very nice repaint! I love the black panel with the green cabin, it gives the aircraft really an old look like those you still often see in small clubs with a limited budget!
Best regards
Emanuel

Nick,

Thanks a lot for linking to that post! I'll try this, and I'm sure it will fix the problem.

The file is down from AVSIM. I have downloaded it before from there, but it's no longer listed.

Anyone know how to get these? The black panel 172 without a GPS is just like the one I got my wings in.

Fantastic repaints, however a lot of changes were applied (Accu-sim Update) since the first version released mostly the Avionics textures became duplicated when dimmed.

that's just the nature of FS I am afraid it can be very much of its time when it comes to the old repaints, mods etc.

thanks,

If Urs recreates c172_c4_l and c172_c4_l_radiostack textures the problem will be fixed, but it's not that kind of easy work, might be...
