Control (shift+3) option

Post by Dobomata »

Hello, I have no issue with this addon, just wondering what does the number "slider" under the volume setting do? (Shift+3)

P3d v5
Thank you

Hello Dobomata,

There's some discussion of the "simulated elevator force" slider in this thread; I understand it was introduced some time after the initial 172 release, which is why it isn't covered in the manual.

However, basically this slider controls how elevator sensitivity varies with airspeed. A value of 100 means that greater yoke/stick deflection will be needed to achieve the same pitch input with increasing airspeed, when compared to a value of 0. This can be useful for anyone who find the controls too sensitive in cruise flight.

Thanks,
Nick
