Old question but my searches have not worked

Post by blazer05 »

I opened the C172 in P3d v5 - and the shift + # panels do not show up. Transparency is set to 0%. This was first attempt to use version 5, BTW.

In P3d v4 - these panels work.

I remember this being an issue for me once before and I got the answer on this site. Hopefully, someone can point out where I am messing up.

Hello,

I think the first to check is when you installed the aircraft in the latest version of P3D, did you download the P3Dv5 version of the C172 installer rather than using your existing P3Dv4 version?

If you did, please can you check if the 2-D panels open as expected with other default P3Dv5 aircraft. If they don't, it points to an issue with key mapping.

Thanks,
Nick

My apologies - but it is missing key assignments that cause the issue. You are correct.

Thanks again.
