C-172 Pitch Control/Trim

Post by ACE137217 »

Would love to get a response from A2A on this topic please!

So recently I've had to completely reset my PC and reinstall FSX:SE and all of my A2A aircraft and a new problem arose where my C-172, Cherokee, C-182 and Comanche pitch the nose up after a take-off to the point where the aircraft actually stalls, with the stick at center and trim at center, I have never had this problem with my aircraft before and am really frustrated as I use these aircraft to practice checklists and procedures and now have to deal with unrealistic flight characteristics, is there any way to correct this issue? I have used the updater, and to my knowledge all my aircraft are up to date, any advice on how I can fix this?

Hello,

can you please take me through your install process, as you mention a reinstall so we have to check you went in and manually deleted everything prior to the sim reinstall otherwise there is a chance you are running older files from the previous install.

thanks,
Lewis

Hi Lewis, yes I uninstalled all of my aircraft and deleted any and all files that remained on FSX before uninstalling FSX as well, but I have found a solution to this problem, for me it seemed to be the fact that I joined the beta program for FSX:SE and once I opted out my aircraft were performing as they should, thank you for your feedback Lewis, really appreciate the engagement here at A2A. :D
