No. You can change aircraft paint schemes all day long and it does not affect the Accusim hours on the Hobbs meter.

Thanks matey, and it certainly isn't my last. I have an idea for the Cessna 172 ! An edited version so that people can apply their own registrations, yes ? I suppose all I would have to do is erase the G-OPVK and the Red Ensign from the pilot's side of the cockpit, since they are relevant only to me ( well, the entire tail is Red Ensign based too, of course ), but in what format would I upload it ? Just the pa28_180_t.dds file, which could then form the base layer in a Photoshop psd ?Lewis - A2A wrote:Great job Paul! And thanks for choosing our aircraft to be your first. Maybe not your last, and dare I say maybe an edited version could be released? I rather like the scheme, esp the tail

Lewis, okay, it will be G-something...give me four letters that mean something to you..initials of names, or something like that. It'll be a few days before I can get back to it, because today I've been battling with text outlines. I really wanted the registration in red with a blue outline, and with the assistance of the good folk at CBFS, I've worked out how to do it in PSE 9. Once I've done a new version, I'll show that, and you can choose between the two styles. It'll be a few days though - back to work tomorrow.Lewis - A2A wrote:Maybe apply a fake UK reg of your choosing and release the entire repaint? I'd certainly fly her around my FTX England
