Some lovely repaints there from Mattias, 'navid' and Antonio.

This one's a little unusual. G-SIXT is actually a PA-28-161 Warrior II which is operated by Booker Aviation (Airways Flying Club). In 2008 the aircraft was repainted in a commemorative livery to mark the flying club's 60th Anniversary. The paint scheme was designed to invoke the DeHavilland Comet 4's flown by BOAC and BEA in the 1960's and each side of the aircraft is painted differently to represent the two airlines.
A little artistic licence has been used here-and-there to adapt the livery to the Cherokee C, but hopefully it's a fairly good representation of the real aircraft which I think is rather handsome in spite of its asymmetry!

Best wishes,
Nick
P.S. John (G-BJPS) - I saw your post about a 'BA' livery. Booker Aviation operate a few Warrior IIs in the colours of BA, and I might have a crack at one of those. However, it won't be for a week or two (working away) so somebody else may wish to paint one in the meantime...

Hi,
I'm just in the middle of doing G-EGLL. I'm hoping to get her finished this weekend if I can find enough time, but still lots to do.
Here's how she looks so far.
Cheers,

Gotta chime in here - I'd love to see the classic 1980's BA scheme that I remember oh so well from when I was a kid:
