Davtron

Post by vangyver »

I would like to wire two switches up for the Davtron via FSUIPC. Is there a LVAR for the two switches?

I thought Nick and/or Lewis mentioned a list of Lvars somewhere…I found this in the forum but I have no clue if it helps you! :D https://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewt ... 25&t=47493

The link you posted is for the A2A Comanche 250. Nothing there for the Davtron but has the following which I do not believe will work.
(L:ToFromNeedle,enum) - to/from flag (0 – off, 1 – to, 2 – from)
(L:ToFrom2Needle,enum) - to/from flag (0 – off, 1 – to, 2 – from)
I also have the LVAR PDF for the Piper Cherokee 180 which also has nothing for the Davtron but does list the same as above.
Thank you for your reply.

Hi Vangyver,

You should be able to use the three L:Vars below to operate the buttons on the Davtron clock.

L:ClockLc2LeftSwitch
L:ClockLc2MiddleSwitch
L:ClockLc2RightSwitch

I suspect for regular spring loaded buttons, you'll want to SET them to 1 when the button in question is depressed, and SET them to 0 when it's released. If you're using a two way switch, a different approach may be preferable.

Thanks,
Nick

Sorry Nick, my bad. I should of stated it is for the Piper Cherokee 180. (DVOR) Lookong for LVARs for the Nav 1-2 switch and the To-From Switch.

I think I found it:
L:DvorNavSwitch=0
L:DvorToFromSwitch=0
It must be a value of o or 1. I will have to test it.

Update: Yes it works.
L:DvorNavSwitch (value of 0=Nav1 Value of 1=Nav2)
L:DvorToFromSwitch (value of 0=To Value of 1=Fr)
