Help! Lost all my mini panels!

Post by nojwod »

I was clicking on the transparency setting in the workshop window and I clicked too far and the window disappeared!

Now they've all gone. I tried re-installing the aircraft but no luck.

Is there an ini or xml file or something I can reset the transparency so I can at least see something?

Thanks

Hello John,

This is actual just a direct link to the transparency control in the sim. So if you go too far you can just go to the sim options and change it back from there.

Thanks,
Lewis

Thanks Lewis.

Have another question, googled but can't find the answer.
Why KAP155 NAV display 227/21 for VOR frequency ? ?

Have cycled thru the different modes, the display still shows 227/21, 225/26 etc.. for VOR frequency. It happened when I switched from GPS to NAV. I repeated the steps to recreate the "ërror", but only happened once. Checked the Bendix manual, but nothing mentioned about the 227/21, 225/26 etc.. VOR frequency

I am not sure of the top of my head but if its a one time error chances are that it might have been just a flight initialisation error.

Hello,

have you made any CFG changes to your aircraft between it working and not working?

I cannot remember from the top of my head if you can drag the map size also to get it back to normal.

If you have made any changes you'll want to revert back to the default cfg's.

What system are you using, are you a 4k monitor user?

thanks,

Hi Lewis,

I didn't change the CFG file. But when I start a new flight, the map revert back to its default size.

Mine is a notebook, not using 4K monitor.

Thanks

I was about to nod to myself and be happy that whilst we don't know what happened its good to hear you are up and flying anyway. However I just remembered that I think it may have been caused by saving the flight with the 2D panels open. I seem to recall this being the case sometimes in FSX and P3D so it may well have been a case of the panel getting a little corrupted in the save as it was open as the time of the flight save. Something worth keeping in mind.

thanks,
