Thanks for the info Rhett,

For what it's worth, I've just made a one hour test flight through the rainy skies of southern England in P3D v5.0.31.35253 courtesy of the latest ASP3D beta (7487) and Orbx TrueEarth GB and haven't been able to prompt a CTD. This is with a RTX 2070 Super, vsync and triple buffering on, fps locked at 30, a single 1920x1200 display and 4xSSAA.

I suspect it's a combination of things which is causing the CTDs being reported by a few customers rather than one 'guilty' setting, but without being able to reproduce the issue it's hard to be certain.

Could you just let us know what other add-ons you have running?

Cheers,
Nick

Orbx Global
Orbx Trees HD
A2A Cherokee
LatinVFR KMIA
RealityXP GNS430

That is all.

I deliberately don't run anything else (ActiveSky, Pilot2ATC, SimSounds etc.) when I test for this reason.

It's interesting that FreeBird and I both have 1080ti's. I'm using the latest nVidia Driver with default driver settings.

Maybe there must be something about 1080ti cards and vsync with the windshield.dll?

I've started getting crashes with rain or snow too :( P3D v5 HF2, ASP3D, RTX 2080 Ti. Guess I'll disable the DLL.
