Piper 180
Just loaded the Piper 180 and so far all the parts seem to work but the Mag Key will not rotate. I can start the plane with Control E but not manually. I have FSX with proper updates.

Re: Piper 180
Hello Jerry and welcome,
How are you trying to rotate the magneto key? You should be able to turn it by hovering your cursor over it and using the scroll wheel on you mouse, or (I think, I'm away from home at present) via left and right clicks to turn it left and right respectively. You can also program keyboard/hardware shortcuts via the Cherokee Input Configurator.
Thanks,
Nick

Thank you for the reply. That works perfectly. I had no idea that is how it is done. Is there a manual on this? I am very slowly trying to figure this out. Just got it as we are rebuilding a 180 with a panel exactly like yours. Using this for training so to speak
Regards,
Jerry

Re: Piper 180
You're welcome Jerry. The manual is installed with the product and you should find a link to it and some associated utilities in the "A2A Simulations" folder in the Windows start menu. If you have any other questions though, please feel free to post here too.
Hope you enjoy the Cherokee and find it a useful training aid. Best of luck with the rebuild, and if you have any photos you'd like to share, we'd love to see them.
Cheers,
Nick

Re: Piper 180
Thanks Jerry - she looks great: a very classy and smart interior and rather a handsome paint scheme too. One with a kind of Beechcraft vibe to it.
Cheers,
Nick
