air pressure

sorry to ask so many questions but this confuses me. on checklist it says air pressure to 2.5 my gauge does not move after many pumps however when engine starts air pressure well past that number

currently the manual pump is in-op as we just couldn't get it working properly

That explains it. I'd wondered about that. I read it on the checklist but forgot it during startup.
