My bird, thanks again Al!Al FR-153 wrote:Requested by Addman.... OH-CWE in factory fresh and worn but still loved conditions.

Addman wanted a bird that had been washed, waxed, and buffed, maybe once too often and one that was faded and showing her wear and tear. So, with paint wearing thin, especially on leading edges, some stone pits, defective paint adhesion, and grime, this bird is more like what you see on the flight line after several thousand hours service.

Hey all of you 182 paint experts! I've got a plane for you guys... it's a friend of mine's, I've flown it once and would love to have it to fly in the simulator. Would one of you fine gentlemen be able to recreate it?

I already have the basic artwork done for that paint scheme. I will put it to this registration if you can give me a couple weeks. I am having eye surgery next Monday, and right now, the paint shop is temporarily closed for fog.

Thanks Piper.....Sign of old age I guess, but when you are involved in graphics work (paint shop) and photography, it is a real pain in the horizontal stabilizer.

I believe it can. I'm not there yet age wise but I had my fair share of sick time already. I know it can totally bring you down.Al FR-153 wrote:Thanks Piper.....Sign of old age I guess, but when you are involved in graphics work (paint shop) and photography, it is a real pain in the horizontal stabilizer.
Take it easy

Looks great Al. I'll take it you're fully recovered then? Good to see you back here.

Thanks Piper.... One eye done, one to go. What a difference though. Colors are radically different in the left eye now. Might have to review some paint jobs and correct for white balance. Right eye (not as bad initially) now appears to have 'coffee stains' all over the lens....or very dirty glasses. If you are old enough to remember the product jingle..... You'll wonder where the yellow went when you brush you teeth with Pepsident...... Nobody told me I should do the eyeballs as well.
