I hope you all enjoy this paint as much as I enjoyed creating it. I love to paint and I enjoy sharing my work with all of you.

This is a fictional paint based on an fictional Island Charter service which is based on the Island of St.MAARTEN and covers flights to the surrounding islands.

A few Island Airports CARIBBEAN CHARTERS fly to are:

Anguilla: ID=TQPF The Dutch built a small fort on Anguilla in 1631. Then, in the mid-17th Century, English settlers arrived and colonized the island. Anguilla is known as a quiet, peaceful island, with miles and miles of white sand beaches, all ringed by crystal clear waters. Tourism is the major industry, and visitors (many coming to scuba dive), arrive by air, while some take one of the convenient ferries linking Anguilla with Marigot, St. Martin. Anguilla is mostly flat land, with the highest point only 213 ft. above sea level. There are no rivers or streams, and the average high temperature is near 80º.

St Martin / Sint Maarten: ID=TNCM St. Martin was discovered and named by Columbus in 1493. In the early 17th Century, the French and Dutch arrived, built small settlements and eventually drove the Spanish off the island. Divided between two countries for 350 years now, St. Martin/St. Maarten is harmoniously shared by the French and the Dutch. The border between north and south is all but invisible, and in most ways.....St. Martin/St. Maarten is simply a strikingly beautiful neighborhood with two distinct cultures. The French side (St. Martin) is certainly more relaxed and sophisticated, and its first-class resorts and white sand beaches are mostly secluded. Marigot is Mediterranean resort-like, with yachts in the harbor, and open-air markets and shops lining the waterfront. A bit to the north, Grand Case is known for the island's best restaurants. The Dutch side (Sint Maarten) is a lively destination of white sand beaches, casinos, historical sites, shopping venues and lot of nightlife. Philipsburg, a duty-free port, is the main entry point, and it vibrates with Caribbean colors, sounds and cruise ship passengers.

St. Barts / St. Barths: ID=TFFJ One of the trickiest most dangerous airports to fly into. It was also featured on the Discovery Channels series *The Ten Most Dangerous Airports* in the world. You have to try this one from both sides and you'll soon know why this airport is soooo tricky.

It is widely believed that St. Barts was discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493, and he named it in honor of his brother Bartolomeo. In the mid-1600s, the French arrived, took control from the indigenous indians, and built small settlements. In 1784 it was sold (traded) to Sweden, and even though the French bought it back in 1878, some Swedish influences remain, including the name of the its capital, Gustavia. The island is part of the French overseas department of Guadeloupe, and the French influence and style are everywhere. It is considered by many to be the Caribbean's most beautiful island, with dozens of white sand beaches, crystal clear waters and a green, hilly landscape punctuated by numerous lagoons. St. Barts is definitely upscale, and a favorite of the rich and famous. The island is chic and simply stunning especially if you have an addon scenery pack by FlyTampa or something similar. Gustavia, a duty-free port, is a picturesque place of red-roofed buildings, boutiques, a yacht-filled harbor, and a very relaxed lifestyle.

There are a lot of other places to fly too.

A big Thanks go's to Taildraggin68 for a couple tricks he knew about for a panel overlay trick and for an actual photo of a pearl which I used for the emblems on the yokes. Thanks Scott! He's very good at interiors and has a lot of tricks figured out in that department. I just hope he can stay out longer instead of just getting a day pass every once in a while from the institution LMAO (inside joke) (It's the State Farm Guy) Maybe Scott will explain this one LOL.

Anyway, the features on this one are a bit complicated so please read the INSTALL.txt inside the download or your plane may not look right. It's very simple actually, just READ.

----------------------------

Features:

~Exterior Pearlescent paint effect.
~Prop effects (3 Blade only) blade pitch and engine rpm's produce different lighting on the blades. Pearl effect comes through.
~Interior consist of a new color scheme for the seats, Custom painted panel, Lighting, Radio stack lighting, Gauges with repainted faces including Red and Yellow warning area's and Green indication area's as well. Also the finger prints have been removed, custom yokes with in-laid pearl for the centers along with a few other tweaks.
~Custom Fresnel files
~Custom cube maps
~Custom Env maps
~Custom Bump Map and more.

Please do not edit these files or the entire aircraft will get changed and won't look right. It took a huge amount of time to get these files to work together correctly and there's no room for change without messing up the looks.

Again this is a fictional repaint.

So with this in mind... Take to the skies folks and lets move some people around... I would love to see some nice in-flight screens of your ventures and especially a cool video or three. The more the merrier!

Cheers!
~A~

Thanks...

FlyTampa scenery: St MAARTEN is the one you want. It's focus is on Julianna Airport (St Marks) but the St Bart is also done and yes it features the same approach with the grass slope, roads, vehicles and much more very close to the actual airport. In the sim, following that slope down to the rwy is just like a ski jumper flying above the slope until he touches down. I almost ran out on the beach on one landing lol It's very challenging and you have to literally get within inches of the first group of trees you encounter right before the slope. This is a "Do or DIE" approach to hit the right marks on the rwy so you can stop without hitting the beach. Give it a try. I don't know how it is in the default scenery but I'm actually afraid to look.

I'll be away from simming for a while after tonight for a week or more so the painting is on hold for a while.

ALUMINUM PANEL Option. Just replace the other three files in your "texture.PH-ASW" folder.

Nice paint scheme! Do you have the FlyTampa scenery for St. Martin? If not you need to get it so you can fly the Cessna into St. Barts.

Keep the shiny side up and the dirty side down!
