Flight1 GNS 600/500 VC panel integration

Post by Kilua »

I have flight1's GTN 750/650 units for my C182 and love it to death, would it be possible to integrate flight1's GNS 600/500 as well into this plane so that it will work alongside with the GTN 750 unit?

Hi Kilua - do you mean the touchscreen Garmin G500 and G600 displays? If so, I'm afraid we don't currently have plans to add support for these, although the older GNS 430 and GNS 530 units are supported.

Thanks,

Hi Nick,

Would it be difficult to "blank out" a portion of the vc (in the model file I would imagine) to leave space to mount the G600 units?

I can't model (fashion or aircraft), so I'm ignorant of how this would work.

Thanks,

Scott

I’m gonna take a guess here and say, it would completely ruin all the development of the realism this plane is equipped with. I’m pretty sure the steam gauges are integral to the feedback you get when flying this, and other A2A planes.

For instance, in the Bonanza, my whole steam gauge panel moves and shakes during take off. This level of detail is amazing, and changing to glass panels would require a complete re-write of essential code, is my guess.
