What happens to my C182 after leaving it for more than a month?

Post by CookerCook »

I never touched my C182 since I think June. I left her at Barrow since I paused my RTW. Now that I get to continue it, what happens to it after a few months? Since we’re talking about A2A, should I even leave her for a few months without exercising her engine?

Load her up, and find out is probably the best answer lol

Just make sure you pre-flight and you should be OK dependant in the state you left her in, kind of oil, condition before you left, cam guard additive added or not etc?

thanks,

Thanks, I did load her up and I may have forgotten to strap her long before I left. So yeah, I let her fly at least a circuit on the airport I am currently at and she’s dandy.
