Other than the obvious model differences, what are the differences between these two "packages" ?
Thank you,
Ken

Re: C172 vs C182
They are both high wing, GA aircraft, built by Cessna. Other than that, I think they are two completely different airplanes. I’m a armchair pilot only, I have both of them in FSX.
Kind Regards

Re: C172 vs C182
Thank you for the reply Tomas. I should have stated that this is a pre-purchase question. I'm interested in the differences in features offered (ie. training features, systems modeling, Stewardess / no Stewardess, etc)
just between these two "packages". Or do the packages both offer the same sort of features ? I know that they are similar type ac (though I'm sure that the purest could argue this ~;) But does one of these packages
offer more "bang for the buck" than the other? For those who have tried both, do you favor one over the other ?
Best to all,
Ken

Re: C172 vs C182
The 182 is longer than the 172, has a more powerful engine and hence is faster and carries more, and a constant-speed prop. Otherwise, they're very similar. Oddly, I didn't particularly like the 172 in real life or the sim, but I enjoy the 182. Go figure.
Re: C172 vs C182
The 172 is a trainer...the 182 is a traveler and a very good utility airplane.

Rob
