Maintenance Hangar is usually Shift+7 in Accusim aircraft. I don't have the C182, but try that. From there you can fix individual components or do a full overhaul.

I don’t have P3D v5, but make sure your C 182 is updated. You can find it in your main menu in the A2A folder. See if that helps. Also, don’t use your A2A aircraft to load a flight. Load a default aircraft in the flight, then once the flight has loaded, load your A2A aircraft. See if this works for you.

Hi Terence.
I dont have P3D , i use FSXA but i am assuming you are using P3Dv5 with win10 , has windows 10 been updated recently , as updates to win 10 can delete the simconnect that A2A aircraft use , this causes all items to be destroyed in the hangar and unable to fix , somewhere on the A2A forum , there is a link for downloading and reinstalling the simconnect needed to fix the issue , do a search for simconnect and you should find it.
Also Wblackret advice is a good starting point to try and fix your issue.

Hello Terence and welcome.

Please can you start by letting us know which aircraft loads with your default scenario in P3Dv5? Sometimes using a complex add-on such as the 182 for the default flight can cause unexpected problems.

Please can you also let us know the exact installation path you used when installing the 182? One other thing which occasionally throws up issues is installation in the Documents folder if this is being synced by Microsoft OneDrive.

Thanks,
Nick

Hello Nick,

When i first load Prep3rd the Lockheed Martin F-35A is the default, i then change vehicle to the C182, i will attach screenshots of the progress.

I just followed the instructions of the download given for the C182 and yes it is in the documents folder A2A, as far as being synced by Microsoft OneDrive not sure what you mean im not a big computer guy.

Regards
Terence

Thanks for the info Terence and for the screenshots.

Is your Documents folder in Windows inside the Microsoft OneDrive folder? If so, the path would generally be "C:\Users\[YourUserName]\OneDrive\Documents".

Also, do you have any third-party antivirus/firewall software running, and if so, from which provider?

Hello Nick,
I find if i follow the path to OneDrive it takes me to Documents, 1.1.0, Presets i have to assume that is the ChasePlane presets, the A2A C182 is in there, there is one file folder called Onboard, and two JSON files aircraft.json, order.json.
My path is C, Documents, Prepar3d v5 Add-ons, A2a, thats where i find my A2A C182 folder.
My third party addon firewall-antivirus is Norton 360 (which is new by three weeks).
Hope this helps.

Can’t go wrong with the C 172 or the Comanche for GA pleasure and if you enjoy barebones flying the J3 Cub is very nice for those low and slow kinda days. Glad you’re up and flying!

Hello Bill,
Sorry for the late reply, and yes i am stuck, since i have the C182 i am going towards the Comanche having the retractable gear low wing ect, i did fly the C172 in my early PPL days and loved the aircraft, so the Comanche i am thinking is my next aircraft.

Thank you so much for your input and advise.

Cheers
Terence

The V35 Bonnie is all fun and a tad easier I think than the Commanche. You only have to pay attention to your maneuvering speeds. Too much bank too slow and that V-tail can bite.
