Thanks Lewis :)

Here's a few more shots that finish off the journey.

Heading south, over Bloomfield Station. The Great Barrier Reef is visible to my left.

Port Douglas

Arriving at Cairns. Cairns International airport with Cairns city to the south.
Image

Taking a turn around Cairns. BTW, this is the standard Aus V2 Orbx scenery, not the Orbx Cairns scenery. Even this is a huge improvement over Orbx Aus V1.

The mountains behind Cairns are 3500 to 4,000ft high. I've been told that they provide natural protection against cyclones that are regular occurrences along the northern and central Queensland coast.

That's it for now. I'm considering a series of screenshots taken for a series of hops between Cairns and Darwin, but more on that later.

Cheers,
Mike

Nice screen shots and the Comanche paint looks great too. Is that paint scheme publicly available?

Looks good to me. I like your instrument panel too. It looks to my eye to be a very dark green, almost black, and looks great.

Glad you like the paint. I stole the interior from someone but can't remember who.
