As promised, here's the finished repaint of my dad's Comanche, N6661P, bought new by him in 1960. He flew the plane all over the American West and Midwest, to Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean and South American. His partner took over the plane after my father had to give up flying. He handed the plane down to his son, who flew it for many years until he encountered structural icing and had to crash-land the plane in a field. The pilot survived, but the plane had to be scrapped.
Repaint perfectionists will catch a couple of mistakes. Let's hope practice makes perfect. Enjoy!

Re: Finished Repaints
This Comanche has been at the Florida oranges I'd say.
There are a few more pictures on the web and most of them show it in the darker yellow. As you can see it has/had a yellow spinner and a chrome one. I leave it to you which one you prefer.
With and without speedy bits and TTs
On MediaFire now AVSIM soonish.

Comanche N7920P
With Tip Tanks
Could not see any indication that this bird had tip tanks, so I carried the theme to the tanks.
Without Tip Tanks
As seen in all the photos that I could find on this bird.

Re: Comanche N7920P
Hi,
Very nice job, some nitpicking, the golden/black lines under the wings (fuselagepart) are missing:
Same goes for the upperside of the wings:
