No Window Fogging

Post by Avio »

Was loaded up in the Comanche for P3D with pilot in cockpit for extended time using ActiveSky, with all windows/door/vents shut, but there was no fogging inside the cockpit. OAT was about 28 C. The T6 fogs up nicely in the past, so was the Comanche, as I recall. Is this correct?

Hello Avio,

28°C is a pretty hot day! I wouldn't expect condensation to be much of a issue as the warm air can hold plenty of moisture before it condenses out and the temperature of the glass itself will be high. Try in cooler conditions and with more occupants and you should see the glass misting up pretty quick if the cabin isn't well ventilated.

Thanks,
Nick

Thanks Nick. Thought I observed that somewhere before. Most probably mistaken.

Yes on cooler days indeed the glass fog up nicely as it should.
