P3Dv5 Update

Post by curtis72561 »

Hello Everyone.

I took the 250 up after installing new V5 update and it flew great. The only thing I noticed was when I turn the transponder on and off I get maintenance hanger sounds (oil fill, battery charge and impact tools). :o :? Anybody else notice this? I thought I had a short in the transponder because the first time I turned it on it was the battery charging and sounded like a short. I than begain to check my circuit breakers and all was on.

Man that was fast. No inconvenience, you guys are hard at it. All good now. Hopefully I'll get to take the 182 and T6 up tomorrow. Thank you.

Hello and welcome,

One simple thing to check is the circuit breaker for the gear motor. If this doesn't fix the issue, please can you start a new topic to help us better track the issue.

Just checked the breaker, breaker is IN. I can hear the sound of the motor and I also have the green 'down & locked" light when I move the switch to the the down position. In the up position nothing happens, the
'unsafe' light is on. In the exterior view gear is down.. OK, I 'll start a new topic. But before I do I 'll check everything again..

Thanks Nick
