Input Configurator question

Post by TBryson2 »

May be hard to convey myself here, but here goes.

I used to have FSX and P3D v4 on my system, and have uninstalled FSX so I only have P3D v4 and 5.

There are folders in my Documents for FSX and P3D which contain the input configurator data and the unique aircraft data (hours, maintenance...) for each aircraft.

The input configurator data AND the individual aircraft data (hours, status...) for all of my A2A aircraft are still updating in the FSX\<individual aircraft> folders, and NOT in the P3D\,individual aircraft> folders.

Not a big deal, but I would like for my A2A aircraft to ONLY go to the P3D folder and be able to remove the FSX folder.

Is this possible? And if so, how?

Thanks,

Hello,

the aircraft will use the fsx folder we create for them. It wont affect the aircraft or anything like that it is by design this way.

thanks,

Thanks Lewis, But it also created a P3D folder with the same subfolders and doesn’t update those. Was wondering if there was a way to make it only use the P3D folder. (Or, What governs where it updates the files in FSX and not P3D?)

Not a big deal, mostly curious.

Hi TB2,

No, Accu-Sim is hard-coded to save the files which store the aircraft state in the "FSX" folder at present. The "P3D" folder was added so that a slightly different version of the "axisConfig.cfg" file can be saved by the input configurator(s) if necessary.

Thanks,
