Real AT-6D and T-6G Texan Simulator Cockpits

Post by warbirdguy101 »

Hello all,

Finally back on this project again with my dad. He is primarily handling the hardware while I primarily design the system and work on the software side.

We have two real tubulars that we have stuck together. One to represent an AT-6D and one to represent a T-6G. The one photographed will be a AT-6D but we will still use the A2A software with it.

Question,

How do I disable persistent aircraft? I would like the scenario reset to completely refresh the aircraft.

Thanks! Will post more as we progress.

We have made significant progress.

I still cannot figure out how to post images to this board but I will try to explain at least.

AT-6D
- Flyable and now has most instruments working in LCD or Stepper motor form.
- Servos working for Gear and Flap position sensing.
- Smoke on Trigger and Smoke Arm using the Bomb Arm switch.
- Repainted canopy structure with bare metal side panels added.
- Note: This version is intended to be a mostly pure WWII configured aircraft.

T-6G
- Most position sensing potentiometers installed for primary flight controls.
- Toe brakes are WIP.
- Note: This aircraft is intended to represent modern flying aircraft.
