Re: Finished Repaints
"Heave Ho" has been uploaded to Avsim.com, Flightsim.com, and Sim-Outhouse.com. It should be found as jt_a2a_t6_heaveho.zip when approved.
From the description: "This repaint depicts AT-6D 42-86068, registered as N4086T, which was restored and is owned/operated by Pacific Fighters, the warbird restoration company. The aircraft is painted in the historical markings of a squadron 'hack' used by the 355th Fighter Squadron, 354th Fighter Group (Pioneer Mustang Group), based in England and mainland Europe during WWII. According to original 355th pilots, the aircraft was used for liquor runs, to fly pilots and ground crew on leave (likely into London or Paris), and providing rides for various ground personnel."
Some little details that I made special for this repaint to match the restoration include the color of the main engine section, all custom stencils, and red-painted fuel caps. Part of the prop hub on the real aircraft is painted black, but due to the way in which part of the spinning prop hub/bolt is mapped, I couldn't paint it exactly like the real one, so I left it with the bare metal prop hub (which looks great left alone). All of the markings were drawn specifically to match the restoration, so are not entirely accurate to the original wartime example (note the serial on the tail is that of the restored airframe, not the original WWII "Heave Ho").

Working on this Ted White skin, off and on. It's going to take a while as I don't feel very good at present.
I'll upload to AVSIM when finished.

Re: Finished Repaints
John- I was flying Pamela Marie through Idaho today when I stumbled upon the most beautiful aircraft, Heave Ho... Had to do a trade in immediately!!! Best part is that my P-51D Live Bait now has a sister!
Many, many thanks!
